Northern California Artist -
Terrell Touchstone
Terrell painted first as a
teen and continued to paint through college where he became quite
accomplished at copying 19th Century masterpieces. Nonetheless, a career
in engineering research took precedence and shelved the paint box for many
years. Only recently did an early retirement give Terrell his first
opportunity to paint full time. An avid outdoorsman, he is known for his
realistic, yet painterly, landscapes and marine scenes. Although largely
self-taught, he has studied art at the University of Alabama and recently
at the College of Marin under Kent Rupp and Chester Arnold.
His works
frequently appear in exhibitions throughout Marin and Sonoma
Counties.
